Elijah's word against Ahab and Jezebel

After Ahab's seizure of Naboth's vineyard, Elijah says dogs will lick up Ahab's blood and eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel. Ahab was wounded in battle and his blood was licked by dogs at Samaria, and Jezebel was thrown from a window and eaten by dogs as Elijah had said. Ahab's humility brought a delay in judgment on his house.
