The wilderness generation will not enter

After Israel refuses to enter the land at Kadesh, the LORD says that the adults who rebelled will die in the wilderness over forty years, and only Caleb and Joshua will enter. Deuteronomy and Joshua record that the generation died out and that the next crossed the Jordan.
