Baptized into Moses in the cloud and the sea

Paul says that Israel's ancestors were all under the cloud and passed through the sea, and were 'baptized into Moses'. He calls the wilderness events 'types' written as examples for later believers, who should not repeat Israel's idolatry, sexual sin, testing and grumbling.
